Designed to protect electrical systems in demanding and contamination-sensitive environments, the ABB T&B Fittings stainless cylinder conduit hub is made of 316 stainless steel and has a fully curved surface to promote water runoff, hygiene, and corrosion resistance.
The smooth, rounded surface and UL Type 4X connection of the unit minimizes gaps between the conduit and enclosure to help prevent liquid pooling and contamination points.
The hub is IEC IP66 and IP67 rated and can be temporarily submerged. An NSF-certified TPE sealing ring covers and helps protect exposed threads from bacteria accumulation and growth.
