Suitable for products such as sauces and flavor emulsions, Silverson in-tank and in-line mixer homogenizers can produce a fine droplet or particle size, typically in the range of 2 to 5 microns; the work head generates high shear rates in a 3-stage process. High-pressure, high-shear homogenizers are available for applications that demand submicron particle or globule sizes.
