My name is Brandon Winkle. I'm with Rome Grinding Solutions, family-owned business. I've been in the industry since 1977. I'd love the opportunity to show you guys a little bit about what we're about. We'll start here, so just a little bit more about Rome. So, family owned, we manufacture, commercial-sized meat grinders and solutions for grinding size reduction.
So, this right here is basically a test set up. We utilize this to showcase what worn-out parts would do, how improper setup and proper set up benefits or goes against what you're trying to do, how it affects the equipment. So we offer training. So we would come on site, and we basically can walk operators through this, kind of give them, this is what this is, what happens when you run good parts, bad parts, etc. So that's what this is.
This is our Colossus. This is a new unit for Rome. What this is is it is a two-stage grinder, for frozen blocks is what this is. So a frozen block gets dropped into an extractor that pre-breaks it and drops it directly down, gravity feeds it into a grinder, and then grinds it out. So what that does is it substantially is less wear on the actual grinding equipment itself, so longer life, longer life span, less cost of ownership. That is a new piece of equipment for us, so very excited about that.
So we'll just go through some of our line cards, Rome RS that's gonna be the wrong reclaim system. What that is it's an all in one, bone elimination system as well as a reclaim system. So instead of just the traditional bone elimination system where you'd have a valve and you'd potentially lose, you know, some of your good red meat, your good product that you don't wanna lose, what that is is it's a secondary stage reclaim portion that reclaims that so you, you're left with bone sinew and just product that you don't want in your end product.
So, the bolt on retaining ring system, what that is is it replaces the threaded ring set up on this style of grinder. It's safer, it's faster, and it's more consistent. So operators of all different variations can set that up and have consistent, torque specs and tightening down so everything's set up properly all the time. So, then just a few different series of grinders, Brutus series that's our small 6-inch, 8-inch, it's our smallest line, for those small to mid-size producers, can primarily just do fresh products. The Brutus say, we've got the option to upgrade the gearbox.
We've got them in all sorts of industries, so they can do like whole turkeys, just really depends on what you want to grind, so. The Titan is one of our most common grinders. That one can do about anything, so fresh meat set up, bone grinding, frozen, really about anything and everything you need. So, in any one of these grinders, a lot of it's gonna be is what you know, what are you grinding, also what do you require for throughput.
So, then the Maximus series is our biggest size, so that would be like a 16-inch grind plate. So we've got fresh meat setups that would be also our frozen block grinder that'll do a frozen block, grind it whole. So, that's kind of that line. Yeah, I'd love to see anybody stop by our booth. We'd be happy to talk to you.
