Mondelēz International has launched the Sustainable Futures impact investing platform to incubate, finance, and support self-sustaining ventures that align with its sustainability strategy and help deliver on its commitments. The platform will give Mondelēz the opportunity to pursue and nurture innovative projects with like-minded investors to address climate change.
Through the platform, Mondelēz intends to invest in projects that protect forests, reduce carbon emissions, create innovations in recycling, and increase resilience in areas from which it sources raw materials. It also will make seed investments in social ventures to improve livelihoods and build healthy communities.
