Perdue Farms Issues Fiscal Year 2022 Stewardship Report

The document reveals details of the company’s progress toward achieving its 2023 environmental sustainability goals and being good stewards of the environment.

Perdue Farms has released its Fiscal Year 2022 Company Stewardship Report, which highlights a second year operating during the global pandemic. Released during the company's 102nd year, the report notes the progress Perdue has made in its sustainability efforts, which are aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Highlights of the company’s successes toward achieving its 2023 environmental sustainability goals and being good stewards of the environment include:

  • Improving solid waste diversion by 11%
  • Keeping more than 250,000 lb of Styrofoam out of landfills by using Green Cell Foam for packaging and shipping e-commerce website orders
  • Entering largest U.S. market-based regenerative grassland partnership with the National Audubon Society and Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Meats
  • Donating to Savory Institute 1% of the annual sales of Spot Farms pet treats to help expand the institute’s mission of regenerative sourcing solutions for meat, dairy, wool, and leather
