ELCAT Food Technology will exhibit at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago, Booth LU-8166, showcasing its approach to integrated food handling and packaging automation through a complete automated line running live.
The demonstration will show how product feeding, high-speed organization, robotic pick-and-place and automatic loading into a thermoforming machine can be engineered as one coordinated process. Alongside the live system, ELCAT will present its broader capabilities in automatic loading, customized food handling, rolling and wrapping, secondary packaging and end-of-line automation.
A Complete Automation Process Running Live
At the ELCAT booth, loose food sticks will be processed through an automated system combining centrifugal feeding, product organization and robotic handling before being automatically loaded into a thermoforming machine.
The live demonstration will allow visitors to follow the product throughout the process and see how the different automation stages operate together as one integrated line.
From Loose Product to High-Speed Pick & Place
Loose food sticks are fed into the centrifugal feeding system, where each centrifuge organizes the products into a single, continuous row and transfers them at high speed towards the pick-and-place section.
At this stage, products travel individually, one behind the other, creating a controlled product flow that can also accommodate vision inspection and automatic rejection systems, depending on the specific requirements of each application.
The individually aligned products are then ready for robotic pick-and-place and automatic loading into the packaging machine.
