MD Packaging, part of the Tessera Group portfolio of packaging and automation brands, today announced it has been named an authorized Canadian distributor for Somengil, the Portugal-based manufacturer of the Multiwasher and Engiwash industrial washing systems. Effective immediately, MD Packaging will supply, install, and support Somengil's washing and disinfection equipment for customers across Canada.

Somengil's equipment is currently installed in over 30 countries worldwide, with customers including Nestlé, Unilever, Sodexo, Aramark, and Starbucks.
