Vortec spray nozzles atomize the liquid stream to create a range of 20 to 200 micron-size spray droplets; droplet size and production are not dependent on liquid pressure. Requiring no electrical connection, the nozzles use 12 scfm of compressed air to atomize the liquid externally. The fogging nozzle produces a directed spray of 20- to 60-micron droplets at a flow rate of 0 to 30 gal./hr., with liquid viscosities up to 1,100 cPs, while the atomizing nozzle has a directed spray of 60 to 200 microns and a flow rate of 0 to 30 gpm, with liquid viscosities up to 1,100 cPs. The humidifying nozzle features a wide spray of 20- to 200-micron droplets at a flow rate of 0 to 15 gpm, with liquid viscosities up to 100 cPs.
