Sealed and lubricated for life, ABB Dodge Food Safe mounted ball bearings have an IP69 water protection rating, without the use of an end cover. They include a stainless-steel insert, a top coat that protects against corrosion and a smooth housing without a grease fitting. The sealing system has a stainless-steel flinger and four contact lip seals, while the ball retainer keeps grease in the compartments around the bearings’ rolling elements. The bearings come in a variety of housing styles, including pillow block, tapped base and flange.
