ID Technology CrossMerge label applicator
Used with cases and trays, the ID Technology (idtechnology.com) CrossMerge label applicator presented at Pack Expo Las Vegas prints and applies GS1-compliant barcodes. The rotated print head changes the printing orientation, optimizing the conditions for both barcode printing and label application, with the bars of linear barcodes running parallel to the direction of feed rather than perpendicularly. The applicator accommodates labels 4 in. across the web and 2-in. long in the direction of travel.
