Tom Hayes has been named the CEO of Tyson Foods, effective December 31. Currently president of the company, Hayes has 29 years’ experience in the consumer food industry, holding executive positions at Sara Lee North America, Sara Lee Foodservice, US Foodservice and Hillshire Brands, as well as general management, sales and marketing positions at companies such as ConAgra Foods, Stella Foods and Kraft Foods. He joined Tyson Foods in 2014 with the acquisition of The Hillshire Brands Company.
