Heineken opens new brewery

Company’s largest greenfield project to date.

Heineken N.V. has opened a new $500 million brewery in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico. The company’s seventh brewery in Mexico, it has a production capacity of 6 million hectolitres per year. The brewery will produce well-known brands, such as Tecate, Dos Equis and Heineken.
