Cargill has spent more than $10 million to install a state-of-the-art edible oil bottling line, which  includes smart technology to assess packaging elements and fill heights, at its Sidney, Ohio crush and refinery facility. In addition to delivering an annual 75 percent capacity increase over previous lines, it also reduces packaging material waste and uses fully recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic. Cargill plans to install two additional lines later this year.
