Nestlé USA, Inc. Selling North American Buitoni Business

Brynwood Partners VIII L.P. is buying the business, including the manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia.

Brynwood Partners VIII L.P.’s newly formed portfolio company, Buitoni Food Company, has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Nestlé USA, Inc.’s North American Buitoni business. Expected to close within the next 30 days, subject to customary U.S. regulatory review, the transaction includes the rights to the Buitoni brand in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean territories, as well as a 240,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia. Buitoni Food Company will continue to manufacture Nestlé Toll House cookie dough products at the Danville facility under a long-term supply agreement.
