Additional projects are planned for the site over the next several years to support the company’s growth initiatives in the retail and foodservice markets in the U.S. and abroad.

Schwan Salina, Kansas Expansion

Schwan’s Company is building a 400,000-sq-ft expansion, which will include automated state-of-the-art production lines and equipment capable of making more than 100 million pizzas a year; shipping and receiving docks; and office space, at its 550,000-sq-ft pizza production facility and distribution center in Salina, Kansas. The project also will include investments in technology and protocols designed to minimize risks during pandemic situations, such as COVID-19, following CDC guidelines and applying key learnings from the on-going global crisis. Construction on the expansion will begin in September and is expected to be completed in December 2022.
