
Diageo, which has operations in over 180 countries, has announced the conclusion of its 2020 sustainability and responsibility goals. Among the highlights are: reducing greenhouse gas emissions from direct operations by 509,000 metric tons since 2007; reducing emissions by 33.7% across the total value chain; ensuring over 99.5% of its packaging is recyclable; having 45% recycled content in its packaging; improving water efficiency by 46%; and attaining zero waste to landfill at all production sites and offices.
