NJM, a ProMach product brand, introduces its new automated adjustments feature in Booth S-3548 at PACK EXPO International 2024, Nov. 3-6 in Chicago. Available on NJM’s popular BRONCO 130 labeler and beltorque capper, this option enables operators to make all critical mechanical adjustments with just a few taps on the HMI when changing to a new package size and/or format. By minimizing manual adjustments, NJM’s automated adjustments feature helps pharmaceutical, biotech and nutraceutical manufacturers and packers speed changeover, simplify operation and achieve reliable system performance.

“We developed this new automated adjustments option with high-changeover manufacturers and contract packers in mind. It reduces the time to changeover the system by 50 percent, which adds up quickly to improve the customer’s bottom line,” said Mark Laroche, Vice President of Sales for NJM. “With fewer skilled operators worldwide, we’re continuously collaborating with our customers to develop new ways to reduce their worker training requirements and ensure error-free operation.”

On the standard Bronco 130 labeler and beltorque capper, operators select the appropriate recipe on the HMI to make electronic adjustments and then follow the steps outlined on a printed setup sheet to make several manual adjustments to the system mechanics. When equipped with the new automated adjustments option, the system is constructed with servo-motors on all the critical mechanical adjustments – when the operator selects the appropriate recipe on the HMI, the machine changes the critical mechanical adjustments as required. System recipes can either be preprogrammed by NJM or the customer can program their own.

Ideal for applying a wide variety of labels to round, square, rectangular and oval bottles, NJM’s inline, pressure-sensitive BRONCO 130 achieves highly flexible, reliable labeling with fast, repeatable changeovers. Capping up to 300 bottles per minute, NJM’s high speed inline beltorque offers simple mechanics and fast changeovers while its precise torque and gentle handling maximize product quality.

NJM delivers a “total solution” approach that includes FDS, SDS, HDS, FAT, and SAT-IQ/OQ protocol and execution as well as turnkey line integration services to seamlessly combine best-in-class technologies. NJM’s world-class aftersales support includes standard and extended warranties, preventative maintenance programs and onsite installation, training and ongoing service.
