Ferrero Building First North American Chocolate Production Plant

The expansion will grow the company’s footprint and will allow the company to produce chocolate for Crunch, 100Grand, SnoCaps, Raisinets, Goobers, Ferrero Rocher, and other Ferrero products to be made in the U.S.

Ferrero North America has announced plans to build a chocolate manufacturing center in Bloomington, Ill. The $75 million expansion will add 70,000 sq ft to Ferrero’s current Bloomington facility. The project is expected to start by spring 2021 and is anticipated to create approximately 50 jobs.
