Hearthside Food Solutions is investing $13.6 million in its Michigan City, Ind. production facility to install a processing, oven, and packaging line. The expansion is expected to create 50 new jobs.

In other news, Hearthside has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Cloud Packaging Solutions, which makes high-speed horizontal flexible packaging equipment, to Duravant LLC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
