Shenandoah Valley Organic Opening Second Facility

The company's expansion will increase production capabilities, allowing more product availability in leading grocery stores across the United States.

Shenandoah Valley Organic (SVO), a family-owned organic chicken company, is building a 75,000-sq-ft, state-of-the-art facility in Harrisonburg, Va. The new facility, its second in Harrisonburg, will increase production capacity and retail packaging, and create 110 new jobs.

Founded by sixth-generation farmer Corwin Heatwole, Shenandoah Valley Organic promotes and protects generational farming by partnering with independent family farmers to raise organic chicken responsibly.
