MXD Process (MXD), an industry leader in process engineering and equipment, has acquired process equipment manufacturer Heritage Equipment and its wholly owned subsidiary BCast Stainless Products. The acquisition serves to strengthen the MXD Process family of brands by incorporating Heritage’s industry expertise, international supply chain, and manufacturing capabilities.

Heritage’s expertise and customer base aligns with MXD’s growth strategy, enabling the company to tap into new markets and opportunities. Leadership from both teams expressed their enthusiasm for the future of MXD and the impact our combined efforts will have to continue improving processes. “With our investment in Heritage, we are expanding both our deep process expertise and production capacity to strengthen our position as an industry leader in process engineering and manufacturing,” said Mark Franco, CEO of MXD Process.

The combination of MXD’s existing capabilities and Heritage Equipment’s resources will drive continued innovation that will accelerate product development. “With its strong emphasis on core values and sound business operations, we share a similar DNA to the team at MXD. And with an industry leading vision and culture of innovation, we believe MXD is the perfect home for the Heritage family,” said Don Behan, president of Heritage.

As part of the acquisition, Heritage Equipment and its team will be integrated into MXD’s operations but will continue to operate from their existing facility in Plain City, Ohio. MXD intends to maintain the Heritage brands for the near future and leverage its reputation of quality delivery in the marketplace.
