Hi, it's Eric Geling, Chief Sales Officer of TNA Solutions. I'm happy to introduce to you to our new fryer. We have a fryer here at our booth at the PACK EXPO 2025 that is a pellets fryer. TNA has been active in the processing business since eight years now, and it's the first time we're bringing a fryer to our booth at PACK EXPO. I'm happy to show you some of the details of this new fryer. So it's a continuous fryer. It's built for industrial purposes, of course, and it's designed to fry 600 kg of pellets per hour, about 1200 to 1300 pounds an hour.
Some of the unique elements, what you see now is a fryer in the open position. Typically when you operate it, it's lowered in two steps. This is a transport system and the hood, so the hood and the transport system come down. This sits on the fryer pan, and then the hood can close down further, and that would be the operating position. This is the cleaning and maintenance position, but it helps explain what's inside. The fryer has an external filtration and heating system.
So the oil is circulated through the fryer through a special-design fryer oil inlets, gives a nice laminar flow throughout the process, where the product travels under the conveyor belt with the flights for accurate retention time control, and the oil and the product travels through the fryer in about 12 seconds in this particular case, and a takeout conveyor is arranged to take the product out of the oil onto the the oiling belts that are installed.
After that, [it's] all fitted under the hood so the oil stays warm and it ensures the best drip off effect. The oil is circulated externally through a continuous filter at full flow through a pump into the heat exchanger, and the reheated oil is returned back into the fryer. The Fryer is fully stainless steel. It's also equipped with what we call clean-in-place system under the hood that is assisting in in keeping the system clean and without operator intervention. Well, thank you very much for for your attention, and check out our website for more detail.
