Mixer designed for viscous products

Suitable for the single-pot mixing and deaeration of viscous formulations such as thick pastes, putties, gels and other semi-solid products, the Ross Model DPM-200 double planetary mixer has a working capacity of 50 to 200 gal. Driven by a 75hp explosion-proof inverter-duty motor, the high-viscosity blades orbit the vessel at 7 to 30 rpm while rotating on their own axis at rate between 10 and 40 rpm; a detachable sidewall scraper arm is supplied for sticky applications. Air-free mixtures are produced via a built-in vacuum system that brings the mixing zone down to 29.5 inHg vacuum. A dust shield prevents product dust and splash from getting into the gear box.
