Blender achieves homogenous blends in as little as 20 seconds of residence time

The Munson Machinery model VIM-124-SS variable intensity blender has six injection ports, allowing liquids to be combined with bulk food materials to produce pastes and slurries. The sanitary unit includes a large-diameter, solid main shaft rotating within the cylindrical vessel. The agitator is driven by a 20 HP explosion-proof inverter-duty motor with an enclosed gear reducer and a variable frequency drive that rotates the agitator at speeds from 120 to 600 rpm. The contact surfaces and entire support structure are available in 304 or 316 stainless steel.
