The Automated Flexible Conveyor Spiralfeeder screw conveyor automatically transfers powders, pellets, and other dry, bulk materials from its high-capacity hopper into mixers, reactors, tablet presses, or other equipment at various stages in the process. Devised to promote fast, efficient flow of flow-resistant, semi-free flowing, and other challenging materials, the conveyor features a 30% larger infeed hopper area than the company’s original Spiralfeeder screw conveyor for consistent flow at the inlet without clogging, bridging, or ratholing.

Available in five standard sizes plus custom sizes to suit any application, the new Spiralfeeder design also increases ground clearance under the hopper for easy emptying and convenient capture of residual materials for reuse, plus a modular, hinged safety grate system allows for easy access to the interior when power to the auger is shut off. The conveyor is also available with a choice of optional accessories, such as a material agitator or vibrator for enhanced material flow and a mobility package that sets the entire conveying system on casters.
