Packaging Machine Is Built for Flexibility

Future-proof modular system offers increased functional efficiency

Gea Smart Packer Twin Tube High Speed Packaging Machine

A continuous motion vertical unit, the GEA SmartPacker TwinTube packaging machine operates with two parallel forming tubes, achieving combined speeds of up to 500 bags, weighing 10 to 18 g each per min. A different film reel can be run for each tube, so small-sized, food products, such as candy, nuts, dried fruits, and other on-the-go products, can be filled simultaneously in pillow bags of different widths or designs. The machine features automated web tracking, a jaw closing mechanism, optimized heating unit, and vertical rotational seal unit. A jumbo roll allows film reels up to 100 kg to be used for long production runs, while an optional, fully integrated labeling unit delivers a speed up to 180 labels per min.
