Hygienic Lump Breakers Meet Sanitary Processing Requirements

Virtually eliminate the potential to harbor product or bacteria

Gericke Nibbler Hygienic Lump Breaker

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

Using a low-speed, high-torque, rotating paddle assembly, Gericke Nibbler hygienic lump breakers reduce agglomerates, granules, and lumps down to 1 mm in size. FDA compliant, the lump breakers include 316 stainless-steel woven wire screens, continuously welded seams, polished internals, and a shaft assembly that allows the entire basket, screen, and front end to be removed and fully accessed for cleaning, inspection, and maintenance. They come in a variety of screen sizes and can be custom-engineered to accommodate a range of process specifications, including installation in hazardous environments requiring ATEX certification.

Make plans to visit PACK EXPO East in Philadelphia, March 3-5, to see on-trend food processing and packaging machinery and materials.
