Lenze debuted its i950 servo drive during PACK EXPO International, expanding its automation solutions by adding a servo drive that integrates consistently into its automation platform. The i950 can function as a compact servo inverter for modular machine solutions right through to complex multiaxis systems. It’s also future-proof and ready for Industry 4.0. With open standards such as PLCopen, IEC61131-3 and CIA402, it enables a high rate of reusability. The compact i950 can be integrated into cabinets with a rating of 15 kW and a depth of 250 mm.

“We are eliminating the boundaries between drive-based and controller-based automation solutions with this drive, making all of these engineering parts much easier to use for users in the future,” says Daniel Repp, business development manager of automation for Lenze Americas.
