Greenyard Foods, a Belgium-based global leader in fresh and prepared fruit and vegetables and growing media, reportedly is in advanced talks to buy Dole Food Company. Although Greenyard has secured financing for the purchase, a definitive agreement has not been reached.
Dole had no comment on the possible transaction.
