Saputo Inc. has agreed to purchase Dairy Crest Group plc, acquiring the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of the company, the combination of which is approximately £975 million. The transaction is subject to approval by Dairy Crest shareholders, as well as other conditions customary for this type of transaction. It is expected to close in the second quarter of this year.
