Campbell signs definitive agreement to sell Garden Fresh Gourmet

Campbell Soup Company is selling Garden Fresh Gourmet, which makes, sells and distributes the best-selling branded refrigerated salsa in the US, as well as hummus, dips and tortilla chips under the Garden Fresh Gourmet brand and private-label products. An affiliate of Fountain of Health USA, a maker of hummus, dips, variety packs, prepared salads, pâtés and frozen desserts, will be the new owner. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
