Mondelēz International reports a 14.4% increase in net revenues for fiscal year 2023, along with a gross profit increase of $2.4 million. The company points to the incremental revenue generated by the 2022 acquisitions of Clif Bar and Ricolino as helping the results. Mondelēz also registered an increase in operating income of nearly $2 million, and an operating income margin of 15.3%.
The company also saw a strong Q4 in 2023 which helped to push whole-year numbers up across the board. Net revenues in Q4 increased 7.1% year over year, with a $395 million uptick in gross profit for the quarter.
In other Mondelēz news, the company appointed Brian McNamara to its Board of Directors. McNamara has served as CEO of Haleon, formerly GSK Consumer Healthcare, since May 2022. Previously, he led GSK’s Consumer Healthcare business.
