Anheuser-Busch is investing $23 million in its Fort Collins, Colo., brewery to expand production and packaging capabilities, strengthen logistics, and support workforce training.

The investment is part of Anheuser-Busch’s Brewing Futures initiative, through which the company is investing $600 million in its U.S. operations across 2025 and 2026. In Fort Collins, the funding will help increase production of Michelob ULTRA, add capabilities to produce 25-oz cans, and expand rail capacity to improve route-to-market operations.

The company also plans to open a technical skills training center at the Fort Collins brewery. The center will be one of 15 new training centers Anheuser-Busch is opening nationwide to help upskill operators and technicians in electrical and mechanical systems tied to brewery equipment. The company says it plans to upskill more than 90% of its manufacturing workforce over the next five years.

“Our investment in the Fort Collins Brewery strengthens our ability to brew and deliver the world-class beers consumers know and love, including Michelob ULTRA,” says Brendan Whitworth, CEO, Anheuser-Busch. “As a proud American manufacturer, investments at this scale help fuel economic growth, create and sustain high-quality jobs, and reinforce our long-term commitment to the communities where we live and work.”

The Fort Collins brewery has been in operation since 1988 and produces more than 48 brands, including Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, and Bud Light. According to Anheuser-Busch, the company has invested $93 million in its Fort Collins facilities since 2021.
