Mobile post hoists from process equipment manufacturer Volkmann USA, Bristol, PA, raise and hold the company's pneumatic vacuum conveyors on a rolling frame to allow movement from one processing line to another. Permitting a single vacuum conveyor to serve multiple processes, the mobile post hoists enable growing food, nutrition, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other manufacturers to automate multiple material transfer operations in the same facility without investing in multiple conveying systems.

To move the vacuum conveyor from above one hopper, mixer, feeder, tank, or other location to another, a worker may disconnect the tubing, roll the unit to the new location, and then set the proper height of the vacuum receiver by pressing a button or turning a hand crank. Once placed in position, the post hoists keep the vacuum conveyor secured in place for safe, smooth bulk material transfer. If cleaning the vacuum conveyor between operations is required, the versatile post hoist invites safe, easy retrieval with quick return to service.

The mobile conveyor post hoists feature stainless steel construction as standard, non-marking casters, and a choice of manual or pneumatic lift. The durable hoists are custom-engineered to suit the requirements of each powder handling installation.
