Boston Beer Company Announces Expansion

Company is planning major changes to its Cincinnati, Ohio brewery to increase production of its popular brands.

Samuel Adams

The Boston Beer Company, the manufacturer of Samuel Adams beers, is investing $85 million to expand its Over-the-Rhine production facility in Cincinnati. The expansion will include the construction of building extensions, the installation of two new canning lines, and the purchase of additional packaging equipment, allowing the brewery to quadruple its production of Samuel Adams, Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea, and Truly Hard Seltzer products. Expected to be finished in 18 months, the project will add approximately 100 jobs once completed.

Cincinnati-based Hixson will be the A/E firm on the project.
