EDGE Industrial Technologies, a cutting solutions company, announced it has acquired Harvest Blade, a Salinas, California-based specialist in industrial blade resharpening and supply. The acquisition supports EDGE's growth in food processing and packaging and expands its resharpening capabilities.

Harvest Blade provides blade resharpening services and new blade sales to customers across various industries, particularly food processing. The acquisition deepens EDGE's resharpening expertise and strengthens its presence on the USA West Coast. Harvest Blade's expanding nationwide blade resharpening, combined with EDGE's growing resharpening capabilities in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, gives the company the ability to sharpen virtually any blade, coast to coast.

"This acquisition marks a milestone in EDGE's growth," said Josh Slagle, CEO of EDGE Industrial Technologies. "Guided by our quality standards, we strive to manufacture safe, reliable cutting solutions while offering value for our customers in food processing, packaging, and more. We're excited to incorporate Harvest Blade's team of resharpening and blade experts into the EDGE community, and we're confident our customers will benefit from the added value services we're now able to provide."

"Harvest Blade is thrilled to be joining the EDGE team," said Dennis Donahue, President of Harvest Blade. "Both companies care deeply about quality, service, and customer success, and this partnership is a natural fit. Our team looks forward to drawing on EDGE's expertise, product offering, and global resources to better serve our customers."

The acquisition underscores EDGE's position in cutting solutions and its plan to continue investing in food processing and other key growth markets. EDGE and Harvest Blade customers alike will benefit from a company that not only manufactures the blades but also provides longer blade life, faster service turnaround, and expanded resharpening nationwide.

The acquisition aligns with the growth strategy of EDGE's investor, Falfurrias Management Partners ("Falfurrias"), a Charlotte-based investment firm focused on growth-oriented, middle-market businesses.

"We're excited to pair EDGE's blade manufacturing expertise with Harvest Blade's resharpening and service offering. We're confident this partnership will support future growth of the EDGE platform, as this expanded team continues to serve in cutting solutions and value-add services," said Ken Walker, Partner at Falfurrias.
