Readco Kurimoto Continuous Processor

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

Featuring a co-rotating, twin-screw configuration with a flattened paddle arrangement that applies high-intensity shear over a relatively long barrel length, Readco Kurimoto continuous processors impart a choice of textures to plant-based meat products to mimic the look and feel of natural beef, pork, sausage, and other types of meat and poultry. Capable of shredding, macerating, and pulling finished products into a variety of forms, the units texturize plant-based products that use soy, whey, wheat, pea, and other proteins, while simultaneously adding flavors, seasonings, and other ingredients. They are custom-engineered for each installation.
