The Atkore Calbrite FDA-approved white, hygienic, liquid-tight stainless-steel flex conduit is rated up to IP69 provides a visual indication of sanitary conditions and prevents contamination from oils, dirt, dust, and liquid, making it ideally suited for washdown applications including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and medical.

Made from a stainless-steel 316 core, helically wound flexible conduit, the liquid-tight conduit provides rust-proof performance by featuring a smooth, oil-resistant white extruded PVC coating. With a compression strength up to 225 psi, tensile strength up to 285 lb, and an operating temperature range of 0°F to 275°F, the conduit supports standard, washdown, and other harsh environments.

The conduit is ROHS and REACH compliant, meets NSF and ANSI 169 requirements, and is designed for use with Calbrite hygienic flex fittings.  

“The white hygienic liquid-tight flex conduit provides the additional color indication solution for food safety, harsh environment, and high-temperature requirements,” says Matt Westerfield, Calbrite’s product manager. “The white conduit makes it very easy to visually inspect and maintain sanitary conditions in the food and beverage industry.”
