Nestlé USA has released a plan to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, a phased approach to halve its emissions by 2030 and realize net zero by 2050. As part of the plan, several leading Nestlé U.S. brands have announced new commitments to achieve carbon neutrality, including Sweet Earth Foods, which is aiming to achieve this goal by 2025, and Garden of Life, which has committed to attain carbon neutrality by 2022.

Popular international brands sold in the U.S., Perrier, S.Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna, are set to achieve carbon neutrality by 2022, while every cup of Nespresso coffee will be carbon neutral by 2022, and 100% of Nestlé USA's creamer portfolio will be converted  to fully recyclable bottles the same year.
