Wells Enterprises acquires Fieldbrook Foods
Wells Enterprises, Inc., the Le Mars, Iowa-headquartered manufacturer of Blue Bunny and other ice cream and frozen treat brands, has purchased Dunkirk, New York-based Fieldbrook Foods, a leading U.S. ice cream producer with two manufacturing plants in the Northeast. The transaction makes Wells the second-largest ice cream producer in the United States.
