Barry Callebaut officially opened its third manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ont. Built in one of Ontario’s fastest-growing food manufacturing regions, the facility is equipped with advanced production lines focused on liquid molding, liquid chocolate, and industrial molding across a wide range of applications to support customers with greater flexibility and capacity.

This is the company’s first new factory in North America since 2008, and its largest capital investment in the region to date. Barry Callebaut already has existing operations in Chatham, Ont., and St. Hyacinthe, Que. Representing an investment of $104 million, the company says the state-of-the-art facility underscores its confidence in the region’s chocolate market and its commitment to advancing local manufacturing and customer proximity.
