Renewable Lubricants Bio-Food Grade hydraulic fluids offer oxidation performance comparable to full synthetics. The fluids are multi-functional, biosynthetic lubricants that contain ingredients classified as Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS), making them ideal for applications with incidental food contact in and around food processing equipment areas.

Readily biodegradable, renewable, and EPA and ISO 1400 compliant, the food-grade fluids can be used on food processing equipment as a protective anti-rust film, as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank closures, and as a lubricant for machine parts and equipment in locations in which there is a potential exposure of the lubricated part to food.

The biobased hydraulic fluids are formulated to perform in high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems that require anti-wear, anti-rust, anti-oxidation, anti-foam, and demulisibility properties. Incorporating high oleic base stocks into the formula increases their viscosity index past systemic levels, providing improved thermal shear stability and increased load capacity. The fluids have an extremely low volatility, which increases their flash and fire safety features.

Available in 5-gal pails, 55-gal drums, 275- and 330-gal totes, and bulk, Bio-Food Grade hydraulic fluids have low toxicity and no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
