The GEA flexible screw pump enables safe operation with low pulsation and low noise levels at high product viscosities, temperatures up to 275°F, and differential pressures up to 25 bar. Suitable for the milk and dairy, beverage, food, and pet food industries, the GEA Hilge NOVATWIN positive displacement, twin screw pump has two screws that interlock without contact and form a closed chamber together with the pump housing. The screws rotate and move product along the screw axis from the suction to the discharge side. Self-priming and hygienic, the stainless-steel unit also can function as a clean-in-place pump. It is designed according to EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) guidelines and complies with 3-A requirements.
