Jensen Meat Co. Expanding

U.S.-based ground-beef processor to add production lines to increase capacity and meet growing customer demand for high-quality beef products

Jensen Meat Co. is investing $9 million to expand its operations in Southern California. Included in the project are two new individually quick frozen (IQF) lines that will add 30 million pounds to the site’s annual capacity and a fresh processing room, capable of handling 10 million additional pounds of beef per year, which is scheduled to be complete in March. The expansion project is expected to create 50 new jobs.
