The advantage of NG material is that it can perform in “dry-running”
applications, where many other chains cannot without lubrication.
Besides the dry-running, no-lubrication benefit, NG can wear longer in
comparison to acetal-based conveyor chains, reduce plate wear and
reduce pitch elongation. NG material chains can also reduce noise
levels compared to acetal materials, while still providing corrosion
resistance.
