Sustainable Food Policy Alliance pushes for carbon pricing system
The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance, which includes Nestlé USA, Unilever, Danone North America and Mars, Inc., has approached the U.S. government about establishing a carbon pricing system aligned with the Paris agreement. The alliance is also asking the government to speed up clean energy deployment and have an incentive-based program to reduce emissions that includes agriculture and forestry.
