PepsiCo Aims to Achieve 100% Renewable Electricity in the U.S.

PepsiCo, Inc. has announced plans to achieve 100% renewable electricity for its U.S. direct operations this year. To achieve this goal, PepsiCo plans to utilize Power Purchase Agreements , Virtual Power Purchase Agreements, and renewable energy certificates, credits certified by independent third parties that support existing green electricity generation from renewable sources.

The company also recently installed new solar panels at its global headquarters in Purchase, New York, complementing its other solar energy installations throughout the country.
