More than 900 exhibitors will greet some 22,000 customers/buyers from more than 20 countries at Expo Pack Mexico. The show runs June 21-24 at Centro Banamex in Mexico City.

Packaging professionals from all major Mexican States will be on hand, as will delegations from Guatamala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Honduras. These attendees include packaging and processing professionals from a wide range of industries, including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, graphic arts, medical, and chemical and automotive.

New for 2011 is the Processa Pavilion. It will feature the latest developments in processing machinery and technology for the fruit and vegetable, beverage, dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, and frozen food industries all in one designated area. The Containers and Materials Pavilion, also new this year, will include innovative containers and materials that increase visual impact, enhance convenience, maximize shelf life, and add functionality. And returning to Expo Pack Mexico is a full conference program organized by the Mexican Packaging Association.

“Expo Pack Mexico presents a lot of opportunity for exhibitors as well as visitors,” says Jose Martinez, director of the Latin America office of Expo Pack Mexico producer PMMI (Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute). “Throughout the show floor, visitors will be able to explore innovations and technologies that provide total systems solutions.”
