The Vibra Screw composite feeder provides accuracies to +/-1/4% in gravimetric mode. Offering controlled vibration during the refill cycle, the AccuFeed plastic-bodied loss-in-weight feeder features contact materials made of USDA- and FDA-approved polyethylene and stainless steel for sanitary compliance. Available in 1/2- to 6-in. screw diameters, it has capacities from 0.24 to over 600 cu ft/hr. The feeder adapts to a range of storage and discharge systems, and a variety of applications with the addition of a secondary trough-conditioning screw for non-free-flowing materials. The microprocessor-based controls include a membrane keyboard and a display that distinguishes actual weight from electronic noise.
