Process equipment manufacturer Automated Flexible Conveyor, Clifton, NJ, is offering its bulk bag filling station (BBF) with optional integrated weighing capabilities. Ideal for filling bulk bags, sacks, and flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) to a precise fill weight, the AFC bulk bag filler is available with a designed-in platform deck scale or integrated load cells with a PLC-based control panel. When the bag is filled to the preset target weight, the bag filling system stops loading the material either automatically or at the press of a button.

Suitable for filling big bags with powders, pellets, granules, flakes, and other dry, bulk materials, the bag filling and weighing station may automatically compensates for the bag tare weight, material in flight, and other factors that affect weighment accuracy. In addition, the bag loading machine may be custom-configured to automatically operate its built-in dust control system and the companion SPIRALFEEDERTM flexible screw conveyor for material transfer up to the spout.

The AFC BBF features a rugged steel frame that safely accommodates fill weights up to 4,000 lbs. and fits bag sizes from 36” – 48” cubes from any manufacturer. The bulk bagging station is designed and manufactured at the company's New Jersey headquarters and installed in its test laboratory.
